Pre-Purchase Tree Survey
Before purchasing a house, it is often necessary to conduct a Pre-Purchase Tree Survey, which is also know as a Home Buyers Tree Survey, to provide a report to satisfy mortgage lenders or insurers. This also may be required when changing your insurance provider.
This type of report will determine if any tree located within or near the property grounds won't pose a risk to the structural integrity of the house or the well-being of those residing in the home or on the property, to reassure lenders.

We regularly provide arboricultural reports for lenders, insurers, homeowners and buyers.

Subsidence can be a big threat to buildings built on clay soil. As tree roots draw water from the ground, clay soils shrink in volume to varying degrees based on a few factors including type of clay soil, and water demand of the tree's species. We analise these details as part of our on-site survey, and compile the data to form a conclusion, of which we provide recommendations to correctly manage the tree to prevent subsidence from occurring.
A few things we look out for...
Risk of subsidence
Potential of harm to people or property
Direct damage from tree roots
